Small breathing volume

High CO input rate

"Tightness" of boundary walls (low air changes per hour value)

Increased CO concentration in outside air

Increased human exhalation of CO generated by metabolism of heme compounds, halogenated methanes, etc.

Increased altitude, decreased atmospheric pressure
