Carbon monoxide is one of the most common causes of poisoning in the
U.S. A high percentage of survivors experience permanent physical, cognitive,
emotional, and psychological sequelae. This presentation will
address diagnosis issues, mechanisms of injury to the brain and other organs,
and the role of neuropsychological testing in assessment and treatment.
