(Eta decreases with increases in Pp and shear rate at small values of Pp and shear rate):

  • Axial flow, thus cell free (slippage) layer within 4 um of the wall (Einstein)

  • RBC orientation relative to wall and other erythrocytes

  • Rouleaux break - up
