- Atrial septal defect (most common, majority in females, symptomatic in 3rd decade, increases with age, chest pain, Left Ventricle dysfunction, arrhythmias, Congestive Heart Failure).
- Patent ductus arteriosus (2nd most common, more in females than males, harsh continuous murmur, mitral flow rumble, Congestive Heart Failure, Pulmonary Vascular Obstructive Disease).
- Coarctation of the aorta (5% of congestive heart disease, more in males; related to hypertension).
- Pulmonary stenosis (mild = normal life, moderate/severe = symptomatic, death due to right heart failure).
