Projects you can do with Carbon Monoxide

  • Record and graph the levels of CO in your house over a period of one week.

  • Make a drawing of your house and indicate where the CO alarms are / should go.

  • Make an informational chart on the danger of CO.

  • Go to your local fire department and ask how they measure CO.

  • Go to the library and see how many books and magazines contain material on CO.

  • Do a survey of your friends, relatives and neighbors to find out how many have CO and/or smoke alarms in their house.

  • Do a survey of your friends, relatives and neighbors to find out how many have fireplaces in their homes, cottages or cabins.
